Our client is seeking a Regional Head of Transport, who will lead Transport procurement while continuously improving their East African Transport and Driver Engagement teams. You will have full responsibility to ensure world class processes are in place for their transportation owners and that they get the best transporter experience throughout East Africa. The successful candidate is extremely customer centric who excels on execution and continuous improvements. You are an experienced leader with a proven track record of development in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Partner with the Executive team to implement
Full ownership of the East African Transport procurement process, driver
engagement and transporter customer journey
Continue scaling the business and
implementing world class processes for the organization
Support increased product offering by
growing their fleet size and onboarding new truck types
Support and lead the usage and updating of
the CRM platform
Lead your direct reports and coach them to
develop their teams
Find innovative solutions to overcome
existing problems & enhance performance
Ensure KPI’s are in place to track progress
Respond to day to day complexities
Execute strategic projects assigned by exec
team
